We stopped at South West Rocks for the night as a stepping stone to Byron Bay. The driving itself was easy an uneventful. Molly was performing well so far. There is a single road that goes all up the East Coast so it's pretty hard to get lost. It would be nice if the scenery changed though. The towns we drove through were instantly forgettable. The template seemed to be the same all up the coast. One main street with rows of wooden, corrugated-iron rooved semis followed by a pub with adjoining bottle shop and pokies (bandits) and covered walkway and a butchers and hardware shop. All a bit hicksville really.
