I'm in Bahrain's airport right now. It's 10:30pm, so really I have no idea what it looks like outside, but the airport is nice enough. There is a lot of good shopping here, but I decided to shell out the $6US for an hour of internet to prevent excessive spending on duty free goods. I really can't be trusted in duty free areas, especially when I'm tired and my judgement is off. Who knows what I would buy?
My flight was alright - no complaints about Gulf Air. I didn't have my own TV screen like on the singapore air flights, but the seats were pretty comfortable, the food was quite good and the people were friendly. I slept most of the way, but I caught the end of the movie Sahara and the beginning of Ice Princess. I have to say, although I love cheesy kids movies, Ice Princess was pretty bad. Anything to do with some physics equation explaining figure skating just can't be good. I'm still pretty tired, so I will try to sleep on my next flight as well. I only have 2 hours here before boarding, so hopefully I can find a nice place to sit and attempt to read my book.
