While traveling, I found myself making an informal food journal.  This isn't all the food that I had... although it may seem like it.   It's times like these where I wish I could upload more than the picture.  I wish I could upload the smell and taste of these foods.  Unfortunately, you will have to imagine how good they are.

As you start to salivate, I will also add that the average price for each of the meals were ~$10-15.  Which isn't expensive at all... unless, of course, you are living in China and used to paying around 1/4 of that for a meal. ;-)

The craziest thing that I had was raw chicken.  Yes, it's true.  The way it was prepared was by searing the outside and came with a special soy sauce.  It was unexpectedly edible.  I wouldn't order it again... but where else in the world can you safely eat raw chicken?  Thank you, Japan.  Apparently they had raw horse meat too... but considering I don't really go for cooked horse meat... I didn't mind missing out on it.

Haha, I love your blogs about food. Sometimes I think it's the main reason people travel! The presentation of some of the foods is super nice. But I guess that's why you're paying $10-15 for it

Thanks, Philip... yeah, food is important to me. =) I miss being able to eat those foods in the pictures already!
