Not much to say . . .but we got PICS!!!!!

Hey! Well we really haven't done much yet today. It's only around noon or so. Last night after we wrote we went and checked out "Blood Diamond". It was really good, very realistic, pretty graphic so Jess winced a couple times but she did pretty well. Then we headed back to the cabin and chilled out for the rest of the night. Today we got up, earlier than yesterday (not so hard considering our 1230 wake up yesterday), and we spent probably half an hour debating about checking out the International Antarctic Centre. It's apparently one of New Zealands top attractions, so we are tempted to check it out. But they seem to be really pushing their "snowstorm" simulator, their 6 wheeled snow buggy thing you can ride in and they have penguins. We doubt that the snowstorm simulator is really going to impress us, seeing as we left the snow for a holiday. There are supposed to be penguins in the wild on our trip down the Great Ocean Road in Australia. So we're still thinking. We could also go downtown where most of Christchurch's attractions are, but we kinda want to save that for the two days we have booked at the hostel downtown. But, we decided instead of wasting time trying to decide, we'd upload pics while we think. We found the internet cafe that we were looking for on our crappy day, its about a block away from the cabin instead of 90 blocks (exaggeration) like the other one. Anyway, we're gonna head out and grab some groceries and figure out the rest of our day. We had picked up some chicken nuggets and fries that we were going to have last night (since we have a fridge) but they didn't fit in the little freezer. So we thought they could last a day in the cooler with some ice. Oooohhh were we wrong. We went to take them out yesterday and they have either defrosted or the melted ice got in and created two bags of french fries/chicken nugget mush. Whoops. . .we probably should've been smarter than that. But, we blame it on our crappy day. Anything we did that day seemed to go bad. Check back at the entries over the last week or so that didn't have pics before, we haven't really taken any in Christchurch yet. Talk to you soon!!
