Hey yáll. Just a quick one, we´ve got to go catch our bus. We´re in the big city of 50,000 people 50KM from our site for the day.
We had our presentation yesterday. That´s where the director of the education and health programs for Peace Corps Paraguay, the people who placed us in our site, come to visit us to see if everything is OK and to tell the community about Peace Corps and what we´re doing in their midst.
Everything went well. A huge number turned out for the presentation, the directors are impressed with how well we´re doing and the plans for projects we have.
Right now, We´re mostly focused on getting the health post ready to move into. It´s lots of fun for me to be working with my hands for a change.
We just had 7 puppies born at our house and we get to keep one. Yea!

Live it up in Paraguay, Jess & Simon!
So great to keep up with your adventures down under the equator! Thought I'd write as I know your folks are at Estes Park, CO this week. So happy you have a puppy to raise---much better than a baby and you can still work for the PC!!!
All well here with us and Brad is in Philadelphia for debate nationals!
Best Wishes!

Best wishes from Wichita
