We arrived at Inkwenkwezi Private Game Reserve on Friday at 2 pm, and were immediately welcomed at the gate by horses and a few curious and submissive ostriches (they like shiny things, like car mirrors, apparently.)  We were shortly driven down to our tent, out in the bush.  It was well situated, so that all other tents were out of site, and a few minutes walk away, but close enough that they would have heard the commotion from a leopard attack.

This game reserve has all of the Big 5 animals (Lions, Rhinos, Elephants, Leopards, and Buffalo) but their leopard has never actually been seen by a credible witness, though they've found plenty of its droppings.
Most of our time here was taken up doing game drives (I know, such a chore...).  It was a marvelous place 4,500 hectares (picture 4,500 soccer pitches) filled with much game.  We saw the following; blesbok, wildebeest, warthogs, impala, nyala, red haartebeest, zebra, elephants, white rhino, lions (including 1 of 100 known white lions), giraffe, eland, ostrich, as well as many species of birds.

For extensive album viewing, please view this album on Snapfish. Thank you - George
