I'M FINALLY 21!! I really don't feel this old though!
Today after class I took myself shopping. I think it is official, I have spent all of money. I had a really fun time doing it though, so it was worth it. I got two new going out shirts (the purple one in the picture) and a new black scarf. After I got back from shopping I took a shower and got ready for the night. We ended up finding a Mexican Restaurant called the Texas Embassy and I got to have fajitas on my birthday! I also got to have a REAL American margarita, not those ones in Italy that come with your pizza :) For dessert everyone got me a huge slice of hot apple pie. It was probably the greatest thing I've ever eaten. After dinner we came back to the apartments and set up tables in our hallway to play flippy cups. The hallway is quite small and it was absolutely hysterical. Then we decided to head out to the bars. Brittany made me an "I'm 21" book that I wore around my neck all night. It was a good way to get people to buy me drinks..haha. When I got to the bar the bouncer told me I didn't look like I was 21...it begins already. There were a ton of people from Augie there and we had an the greatest time. With a little help from my friends, Tim who carried me and Viv who got me to bed and slept with me, I made it home alright. I had so much fun with everyone and couldn't have asked for a better night. I wouldn't have wanted to celebrate any other way. And who gets to turn 21 in London!?
