hanging around in Bonrechtern

Today we slept in and hung around the house for most of the day. Later on, me, Sarah, Anne, and Thresa went to the grocery store and walked around the small town of Vechta. It was kind of gloomy and rainy outside, so we stopped at a small ice cream/waffle cafe. A couple of us got coffee and Sarah and I shared the best waffle I've ever had. Later on we went to another couple's house for the husband's 40th birthday. I met some more family and was fed another delicious meal.
Then we went to my cousins Hannah, Lisa, and Jens' house. We did a little drinking and then went to a party hosted by their (would be) high school junior class. It was held at a hall with a DJ and bar. It was kind of weird to be drinking with 16 year olds at a school function...
