The Colosseum and Pincio Gardens

This morning we got up and went back to the Colosseum to see the inside. It was really awesome, and of course I took a million more pictures. I think I may have to get a new memory card. I also have a feeling I probably won't be developing all of these unless I wanted to pay a few hundred dollars...so you may have to be looking at my pictures on a slide show when I get home!
After class our professor took us to the Pincio Gardens. It is the setting for one of the books we are reading, so we just went and walked around for an hour or so. It was absolutely beautiful. I really wish we would have known about it sooner because it would have been a great place to relax. It was basically just an open grass area with benches and places and a couple small cafes. I think it may be the only place Rome has grass. There was also a really nice view of the city.
That night about eight of us had dinner with the professors. Because they don't live in our building they tried to have dinner/lunch with everyone sometime just to socialize and chat. The rest of the night I spend packing and believe it or not, I haven't bought enough stuff to where it doesn't fit in my suitcase. We'll see by the end of Paris though... More thumbnails ...
