Planning New Zealand for spring break!
Entry 15 of 71 | show all | print this entry |
After work I met Annie, Dana, and Shelley on George St. to do some shopping. I was pretty proud of myself...I didn't buy anything! I pretty much just went along for the ride. When we got back we all brought our dinner up on the roof to eat. It's nice being able to sit outside, especially since it stays light until almsot 9:30pm here. Much better than 4:30pm at home!
All 14 of us also got together to discuss which weekend trips we would be going on and who was going where for Spring Break. We got the itinerary for New Zealand and started reading about the towns we are going to visit. They sound absolutely amazing! We get to hike, climb glaciers, and even bungee jump...if we want...j/k mom and dad :) We would actually fly into Queenstown and then get on a bus, which will stay with us for seven days. It takes us to six different towns (one each day) and takes us to all of the main sights and also makes random stops along the way. Because there is so much to see in New Zealand you basically have to do a bus tour, which I guess is the best way to see the country and the easiest way to do it. I'm getting really excited for spring break now!
We also watched the last two episodes of Grey's Anatomy from the first season. Annie brought season's one and two with, which is pretty much what we do every weeknight. We decided we'll have to start renting a new TV show once we finish these!
Oh, and one more thing...all of their three ring binders actually only have TWO rings in the middle...I found that a little weird.
Well, I'm off to bed! Goodnight!
