Irene joined us at Aubrey's house Sunday night in Grass Valley and we gathered all our stuff together Monday morning to head out to Natalie's and then north. As i was eating breakfast, there were 4 sets of dog eyes glaring up at me... I guess they wanted my bacon!
So our adventure continued, this time with Aubrey, Me, and Natalie in Aubrey's car and Irene following us with her truck. We were heading to Corning CA to drop off Irene's truck at Aubrey's friend Jennette's house when Aubrey ran out of gas! We were so close to a gas station too but for some reason Aubrey passed it. She turned the car around and as she went the car slowed to a stop on the side of the road. Aubrey had the idea for Irene to push her car with Irene's truck, but that only bumped it because Irene drives a stick. Then Aubrey got out of the car and decided to push but this posed trouble with steering. Then one of us had the idea to go to the gas station and buy some gas. Irene drove Aubrey to the gas station at that point. They returned moments later back to Aubrey's car with a nice man following their car with his own barrel of gas in toe. Saved! Then Irene remembers that she left $15 on four and dashes back into her truck and speeds off back down the road back to the gas station. Lord. Haha, we all went in Aubrey's car at that point and followed suite, repaying the nice man with more gas for his barrel and went on our respective ways. The trip north to Portland OR was beautiful. Now to spend a day there and head north on to Seattle. Here is a picture of Mt. Shasta, in which we passed on the five, and Libby's house, in which I am at now writing this. There is also a picture of Natalie and Aubrey with Libby in front of the store Libby works at.

Haha, running out of gas!!! That sounds so familiar. Your dad loves to drive on the holy spirit and we used to run out of gas regularly.
I am glad you had a nice person to help you. Have save trip. Love the pictures. MOM
