I finally decided to go on a tour/activity on my day off, rather than spend it recovering or sitting around Charleston relaxing... so I went on a 3 hour horse ride around the woods of Lake Louise and up to the Lake itself.

The ride was fantastic, I got a gorgeous Persian Horse (atleast I'm pretty sure it was a Persian) named Caramel.  I have to admit I was a little anxious as I had never ridden a horse by myself before, but once I hopped up on Caramel the owner of the tours walked me through all the tricks to steer the horse and I was right to go.  It felt like I had been riding for years after about 10mins being on the tour.  The ride started through the woods of Lake Louise, and our guide walked us through a little history of the area and then it ended at the Lake.  I could just make out this gorgeous blue through the trees, and then when we came into the open I could see Lake Louise.  It's now melted and the colour that has come through is spectacular.. the photos I took don't do it much justice.

Anyways enjoy!
