I went shopping which actually made my day after the long sleepless night and partying...and the Party goes on cause the weekend was not far. September and me planned and tried to organize a come-together of all friends...we bought crackers, German chocolate and called up friends to bring wine...and we did something really cool...we got the Bill Clinton Biography since he was at the Capitol on Saturday morning. We got ready and dressed up, Make-up inclusive...glitter mania. Mike, Andrea and her boyfriend were the first guests who showed up. It was fun...we talked, laughed and had the best time. As more people showed up we moved to the roof top and chilled there...it was so amazing: the people, the great view over the city which was lightened up..
I drank all the wine...acted silly but then we headed to our favorite bars later on...dancing is always fun...after spending the entire night at that Russian bar called Molotov and after having one drink after another which you couldn't actually definite because we had no idea what we were drinking...it was time to hit the sack. Actually not quite but the bars in the Austin close by 2:00am and they don't give you any alcohol anymore...so we decided to move to the next place...we took a cab later and drove home. I was so excited I couldn't sleep or maybe the alcohol made me dizzy that was why I couldn't fall asleep.
I woke up by 6:33 although the alarm clock was set by 5:00 since our friend Mr. President Bill was in town I definitely wanted to be there and get my book singed. I mean that was kinda a must, you know, Mr. Clinton was here, so I really had to get up although I was so fucking tired - but Bill made me get up. I immediately woke up September and we got ready to go to his book signing. We looked like yesterday...make up, hair, clothes...just everything. Anyway...we were there at the Capitol at 7:50 in the morning .... Waiting in line for the wise man, unfortunately we realized 30 min later that we were waiting in the wrong line, but we fixed that problem right away...who knows us (September and me) and has experiences us together knows what I'm talking about!
They only let 400 people in to get the book signed and thank god there were only 200 other people waiting in front.
We had to wait for another hour before we got to purchase our own copy of his book, since the Secret Service wouldn't have allowed bringing your own copy
He signed my book and we left - I need to tell ya that that was so amazing: Shaking hands with the president Bill Clinton that made me feel like in heaven for at least the next 4 hours.
Waiting for September while she got to listen to his speech I met the nicest people ever...and guess where...at Starbuck's...people are just so socializing over there. I had some wonderful conversation with a woman from New Mexico and a family from Ireland...
We were heading home - we definitely needed sleep so bad for at least a couple of hours...those last days have been really busy...
