Like a few days prior, most of the morning was spent on bullet trains heading up to Osaka (~8 hours door to door).  After many transfers and getting lost,  I made it to the hostel at a ridiculous hour when realizing the distance was covered 4 1/2 hours, the rest was all the inter city transfers in Osaka.    The KOMA guest house in Osaka is definitely the worst one I've been in on this trip, as there are small bugs running around and full of rude people in the room (one of which being the owner who doesnt understand the concept of hitting snooze 15 times at 7:30 in the morning as being annoying).

For the evening I wakled around the Doutonbori district of Osaka which is about a 15 minute walk from the hostel (one of the few plus points) and saw some of Osakas famous advertising sites and ate their staple food TAKOYAKI!  At a scant 350 yen for six, it was definitely my cheapest time having the treat.

I ended up finding a yogurt place that happened to be a chain out of the USA.  Not having it at my town, it reminded me a lot of a local chain in Pittsburgh that we frequent a lot, and I spent an awful lot of money there (as it was something like $0.66/ounce).  Now I know where our local company got their idea from.  But it was delicious, down to the taro ice cream and mochi on top.

Passing out from exhaustion, the day ended.
