My girlfriend and I have had a running playful argument of who can eat the most ice cream.  Well, we were going to put it to the test today by getting the Vermonster from Ben and Jerry's with some of her friends.

For those of you who don't know what the Vermonster is, I can enlighten you.  It is the following:

20 scoops of ice cream
4 ladles of fudge
4 bananas
tons of peanuts [we got sprinkles due to an allergy]
cookies
brownies
large scoops of 4 mix ins [m&ms, reeses pieces, etc]
Whipped Cream

After we got it made with our flavors, they informed us that if we finish in 20 minutes we get it for free.  Well, if it wasn't for the mix-ins, we wouldve... In fact, I probably could do 20 scoops of pure ice cream by myself in 20 minutes but that is another story.  After 20 minutes elapsed we were only halfway through, and down one member who had given up..  and there was no clear winner in the eating contest.

Since we had to pay, we went a bit slower.  We got 80% of the way through and the reese's and m&ms became so textury that we couldn't eat anymore.  I endured slightly longer by eating 3 of the 4 bananas exclusively.  Today, I am the victor, and felt a bit sick afterwards.

When we go to Philly over the 4th of July we are going to an all you can eat ice cream festival for the definitive answer....
