I'm back in Santo Domingo and here for a couple of days before heading out to Costa Rica. It's so good to be back in Santo Domingo though! No mosquitoes and the culture is definitely more evident. I went to my favorite little cafeteria for lunch and the local bakery for Tres leches and helado. I'll definitely miss my new friends I've made in DR!

I enjoyed reading your blog this morning. Whenever I have some down time I'm checking out your blog and seeing where your latest travel have brought you. I'm beginning to think it may be a good idea to track your whereabouts with my 6th graders. In one classroom my desktop is projected on a screen that all the kids can view. Many of them are from the D.R. I'm sure they'd appreciate the pics and their culture coming into their classroom.
