Star-line Tours were CRAP!! The bus was old and was a really ruff ride! The driver had no idea what was going on, and gave us no information the whole trip! We arrived in Hollywood at about 10am, some of the people on our bus got straight on the open top bus and went on the stars homes bit. We were told to wait until 11am and then they would wait for us to get back and go to Warner
I have no idea what I thought the Stars Homes tour would be but when we got to the first home and they said "if you look in that window you sometimes see "insert stars name" walking around" I felt like a dirty perv and just wanted to get out of there.....
They did show us the "Hotel California", The Hollywood sign, Some awesome views, The Hollywood bungalow's that Marilyn Monroe stayed in, Rodeo Drive, Hollywood Blvd, Sunset Strip, Some amazing views of Hollywood/L.A.The shop that rejected Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, So it was good in the end.
After the open top bus we had some time to explore Hollywood and grab some lunch. We went to Grauman's Chinese Theater and saw the Hand prints. We found the Piano Stairs that play a tune as you climb them. We saw the walk of fame and all the stars. Then grabbed some lunch and headed back to the bus to head off to Warner Bros for a V.I.P. Tour.
Warner Bros ROCKS!!! They have areas where you can't take your camera which was nice for me to just take it in. The costumes are not behind glass so you get really close to them. (Can't touch of course) But they had Elizabeth Taylor's costumes and Heath Ledgers Joker costume and all the Harry Potter costumes and props. We went to Ellen's offices and sat on the "Friends" couch. Saw the building used as the clock tower from "Back to the Future" and lots of other famous movie sets and props. But by far the most exciting part for my family was going into the set of "The Big Bang Theory" after they had just finished rehearsals. My boys were pumped!!! No photo's of course but Memories that will last forever!!
