On our way to Oxford from Reading we stoped at Henenly on Thames. We arrived in time to watch several of the womens rowing races. It was very windy and we were glad not to be the ones out there rowing! We had a lovely walk down the Thames to the start line and back. Then on to Oxford.

We arrived in Oxford at about 3:00 pm and settled into our hostel. Next we set off to explore. We were going to see some of the sights were Harry Potter was filmed but Siggy and Pelly said that they didn't want their image of Hogwarts changed by seeing the real thing. So we just walked by Christchurch college and admired it from the outside. We had a great walk around several of the colleges and watched some blokes playing cricket.

Chris took a picture of me under the sign for Boyle (of Boyles law) and Hooke (human cell). Yes I am a neard, no need to remind me.

We also explored the Oxford castle a bit and then picked up a pizza to head back to the hostel. This will be our last stay in a hostel as we are staying at a fiend's house in Avebery for the remainder of our trip!
