Today Matt, Natalie and Eva flew to Bohol and met us at Alona Beach. They got up at 4am and met us by 730am. After breakfast we relaxed on the beach, got some fancy halo-halo (a dessert that consists of ice cream, crushed ice, milk, corn kernels, black beans, red beans, chick peas, cornflakes, coconut shavings, jellies, and whatever else might have been in the kitchen I think), and then set up a dive for that afternoon. This was our first dive without Dennis and I was nervous (again). It worked out great because our "group" consisted of Matt, Brian, myself and our dive master Noel. We took a boat to the marine sanctuary just off shore. We saw loads of fish including some baracudas and eel. This was our longest dive yet, at almost 1 hour.
Needless to say we were exhausted that evening and headed to bed after an early dinner.

The next day we hired a van and driver to sightsee in Bohol. We saw the second oldest church in the Philipines, some Tarsiers (very small monkeys with huge eyes), took a lunchtime cruise on the Loboc river, saw the Chocolate hills, a manmade forrest, the largest python in captivity (which was inexplicably accompanied by a lady boy lip syncing a Madonna compilation complete with animal noises) followed by a delicious dinner at the Bohol Bee Farm.
