Today @ Stage was pretty normal: Language, Cross-Culture, lunch, and TDA processing & simulation.

When we came back from lunch break, the "tissue committee" had put the tissue (fabric) they picked out for Swear-In on everyone's chairs. It's looks fine. It reminds me of the Packers, only there isn't a big "G" printed on it. The colors are mostly green and gold, with a little bit of red. There are big keys and locks scattered all over. It's typical African style to have images of random objects printed on fabric. I thought maybe there was a meaning behind the keys and locks, but it turns out that the committee just liked the fabric. It's not hard to come up with a meaning, but I thought it would be cool if they had one in mind already when they decided on that pattern. Now comes the fun part: designing my dress and having my Tante make it for me.

After classes, we went to play Frisbee, but the terrain was in use. Plus, Aplahoue didn't arrive due to "vehicle issues". Aplahoue is the neighboring city we were going to play against, the Environmental Stagiaiers.

So, instead we went to the Yellow Bar. I didn't drink anything, or stay very long. I had dinner waiting for me; it was already 6:30, and my dinner usually ready around 6. (Which, is actually VERY early...many Beninese families don't eat until 9 or 10pm!)

Dinner was pate/pot blanche with veggies and 2 boiled eggs. It was good. Food here is growing on me, and I appreciate not having to prepare it myself. There is only 3 weeks left of this pampering...lol.
