Slept in until 9am, then went to the nearby omelet stand for breakfast. I had an omelet sandwich with Milo (hot chocolate). I don't usually like hot chocolate, but it's growing on me... It also seems weird to be drinking hot chocolate during "summer" weather.

Around noon, we all left Bohicon to find a taxi back to Azove. We had to take zemi's to a neighboring city. The ride should have been 350CFA, but the zemi wanted 400, the extra 50 as a "gift". I fought it, and finally he agreed to 350....only when I got to the destination, I only had a 1,000CFA bill, not exact change. So, he gave me 600 back in change. I argued it again, and he gave me 25....I was fed up with arguing and let him have his 25CFA cadeau (gift). Agh. I hate being foreign sometimes; they think we are rich and can afford higher prices or have come bearing gifts.

A similar event happened with our taxi. The taxi station employees decided to charge us a "baggage fee"...for 1,500CFA! The trip per person was 1,100...not only do the bags cost more then a person, the fee doesn't even exist in the first place! They just decided to charge us because we are all "rich" white people. One of the people in our car disputed it and talked him down to only paying 500; but it still shouldn't have cost us anything for having bags. Gggrrr....

We got to Azove around 3pm. I hung out in my room writing emails. My family thought I was napping.

After my "nap", I had dinner. Then I played cards with the kids in the household before they went to bed.
