On our return to the hostel we grabbed some beers and chilled on the terrace- decided to try Singha a Thai beer which is everywhere in Thailand. Only drank a bottle and a bit so I still think beer will be something I'll slowly get into.
Unfortunately we didn't manage to make it to a tai chi lesson we fancied which started at 8am on the same morning we returned from our night out. Instead we had a well deserved lie in from all our frantic travels and then headed out to Lantau Island. This was a really great day out, you get a cable car (about 10 mins so quite long) over water and some hilly mountains and we had the pleasure of going through a passing cloud which slowly revealed the giant Buddha in quite an awesome fashion. The Giant Buddha in the largest outside seated Buddha and I felt was worth going to see party in itself but also because there are some lovely views on Lantau Island. We also walked the Wisdom Path there which brought us to some tall wooden enscriptions and provided further stunning views.
