After a tiring day we headed back to Tokyo, slightly wishing I didn't look back at the now almost clear view of Mount Fuji! I did manage to get a quick snap on the phone through the train window when I realised though I'm sure it's not the best!
Early start but not early enough it seems! After a complicated and long journey from Tokyo we arrived at Kawaguchiko Lake in The Fuji Five Lakes area of Mt.Fuji around 3 'o'clock. We had intended to walk right round the lake to take water reflective views of Fuji but after realising it's really far and theres a bridge going half way through which would be hard to keep out, we decided to take pictures from the bridge (I have a rather interesting 360 panoramic with a little Steph on the end! :P) . It was very unfortunate that due to our lateness we were unable to visit the local (well 50 mins bus) ice cave which forned from previous lava flows of Fuji and doubly unlucky that some naughty clouds decided to sit right in front of Mt.Fuji's peak - typical but not much you can do about weather as we well know back in England!!
