I took the train with Megan to go to Pune. We tried to visit the Osho Meditation Centre, but we were too late for the afternoon tour. So I went the next day by myself. I had said goodbye to Megan the night before after a very good meal with some Australian teachers.
The first part of the visit is a 20-30 minutes video that explains how to get there, shows the facilities (garden, library, tennis court, swimming pool, cafeteria with national and international food, bar and dance floor!); 3 people talked about their experience, but only one made sense and was really saying something intelligent. There are meditation sessions all through the day, tai chi courses, group discussions and so on.... They did show, like I had seen on TV, all the people in their marron dress jumping on the spot with their arms up in the air! They looked like a bunch of mad people! Apparently, that's the energy releasing session before the meditation. Then we visited the place. The meditation takes place in a pyramid shaped building from 6h30am till 9h30pm. The only kind of meditation I have heard about before is the Kundalini yoga.
I read later in the book "Holy cow", a really good book, that like rumors say, sex is happening as much as meditation at this place. I will not go to verify, first of all because I can't wear the marron dress and second, I like dancing with my arms up in the air, but not when I am supposed to meditate!
