We were all packed with 5 loads of washing put away when Lou asked the owner of the caravan park if we could buy a lunch which the family was preparing (it was an outdoor café/shop) but they had a huge caldron of vegetables cooking. It was agreed that we should be there by 12 for a meal. We purchased some drinks and played with Oshi and Lilly until lunch was ready. The girls were having fun taking pictures with my camera.
The meal was simple and delicious, a Hungarian sausage casserole and slabs of fresh bread and everyone had their fill (4 families in all). We felt very embarrassed when payment would not be accepted as it was to be "a souvenir" meal.
A final dip in the Danube and we were on our way again, the owners of the campground waving us goodbye. What a wonderful place to stay, amongst families and friends. It is the picture which comes to my mind when I think of Hungary; Camping Bule, Auto Camp, Dunabogdani.
