The hills are alive with the sound of music, and clear blue skies! The respite at the caravan park in Aberfeldy did everyone good I think. Lynn is looking a little better but still has 9 days to go of her 14 day cold. Poor wee gal.

It's so pretty here in the Trossachs, even with the mist, the scenery is beaut.

We had a 'ride' in the Falkirk Wheel (check internet) in Falkirk. This is a huge contraption which picks up a boat with the water around it and transports it to another level in the river, sort of like a lock without all the changing of the water, fascinating, but hardly a roller coaster. There was also a boat show on at the time so we got a bit of a fix on the local culture too. The canal houseboats were very impressive and skinny.

Managed to get another look around Stirling Castle that day too (Lou & Lynn had not been there before). As would be expected of a royal residence, it was big and bold and currently being renovated. The view from the top was awesome and the bottle shop near the cellar too tempting for Des.

A Brisk walk around Bracklinn Waterfall by Callander got the blood circulating and put roses in our cheeks. From there I stopped to pat a gorgious ginger cat then set off to enjoy the Trossachs.
