Trial Trip

Our practice trip with the camper to Streaky Bay and Coffin Bay started off with a few hitches like not being able to get the fridge hooked up. If it weren't for my Dad, we would have had to eat take-aways the whole time. Also a couple of water leakages early in the trip caused it's fair share of misery.
Camping overnight on the beach in Streaky was a tad blustery to say the least. We had to stuff all 4 seat cushions between the canvas and the stays to stop the noise of the flapping. It persisted all night. Coming back through Pt Augusta it was windy again. It was wierd to see the metal roadside posts vibrating in the stiff breeze which was exagerated as we drove by. The coastal route was breath taking.

Gefeliciteerd met jullie 3e kleinkind. Alles goed! Ik weet hoe het is uit te kijken naar een kleinkind als je er nog even op moet wachten het te ontmoeten!! Nog een fijne tijd in Thailand. Liefs Wilma

Great Report So Far (reply) Aug 26, 2006 23:56 EST by bobbyj
I also was listening to Macca this mornig when you were on. Line was very clear, and your descriptions of your travels made me look you up on the web. The reports have been very interesting so far, and are getting better. I'm up to Poland so far - my link speed is fairly slow, especially with the pics. It's been a 2 hour trek for me. I and my wife have both been to Poland a few years ago, wen... show all
