Tour of the City

Today the leaders of our Study Abroad program (IES) took all of us on a short tour of the city center of Milano. Finally the sun came out, and although it was still cold (about 40) it was a gorgeous day and the city looked beautiful! We also toured the Universita' Cattolica (the school where I will be taking classes).
Later they took us to an Aperitivo, and Italian (and especially Milanese) tradition which is kind of like Happy Hour in the US, but is much more widely practiced, and a lot cooler, if you ask me! You buy a drink at the bar, and then you get to eat all you want! And not just finger food/snacks but pastas, pizzas, vegetables, salads, everything! It goes from maybe 6-9, and it's setup like a buffet. It was great, I think I'll be doing a lot more Aperitivo in the future!

good pictures....um maybe some people in them for some perspective? your really ruining my pretend vacation im taking from awful real world. or maybe, i dont know heres something crazy, you could be in one? then i can photoshop myself in and print it out?
