Picked up a rental car in San Fran... massive 4WD SUV pretty nice!.. and missioned our way out to beautiful South Lake Tahoe which is a big blue lake surrounded by snowy mountains... perfect spot to relax over Christmas time.

Well we did a bit of relaxing, but more skiing - first day went at Heavenly Resort near our accommo. It's the biggest mountain in Tahoe at 10000ft and has something crazy like 34 chairlifts on the field! Half of the mountain is in California and half in Nevada so you can ski across the border hehe. Had an awesome day in the lovely powdery snow with amazing views over Tahoe from the top, lots of fun runs too I even did some jumps without breaking anything. So great to be on the slopes again!
On Boxing Day Nicola and Jono went snowmobiling but Nic and I couldn't resist the skiing so went again on a different mountain this time - Sierra. Had another beautiful day, even snowed for us in the arvo and after that was the best snow I've ever skiied on brother!

Christmas Day we decided to just have a nice lax day, so slept in then ate icecream in bed watchin TV... so nice to do something normal for once instead of bein so busy!! Well if you call eating icecream for brekkies normal hehe. Spent the day lookin round the town and shopping, then came home and cooked up a delicious roast dinner and got on the beers and just hung out... then it snowed for us on Christmas Day whoop whoop was so stoked to have a white xmas! Sat outside for a bit basking in the snow and making snow angels. Oh yeah and earlier in the day we made the ultimate snowman with a carrot for his nose! Was actually a lot harder than you think to make but turned out alright.

MERRY CHRISTMAS y'all hope you had a great one!
