Queen Chocolate

In 1905, Milton S. Hershey built his famous chocolate company in the town known today as Hershey. Two years later he opened "Hershey Park" as a picnic and pleasure grounds for his employees. Over the years, the town and the park have grown and flourished. Hershey Park is where we can find Jenn and Dave touring the Hershey chocolate factory, riding thrilling rollercoasters, and of course eating chocolate. This park boasts its nine rollercoasters ranging from "Trail Blazer" to "Super-Duper-Looper" to "Roller Soaker."

The day was a hot one with a deep blue clear and sunny sky. Jenn and Dave start right off by getting wet on a water flume ride. They then proceeded to cool off by riding a few of the rollercoasters with their hands raised high and their mouths screaming in excitement.

The Roller Soaker

Lunch time provided them with a chance to catch their breathe, eat some Mamma Ilardo's pizza, and listen to the Trash Time Band bang out some favorites on home-made instruments.

The afternoon sun would not let up, so Jenn and Dave went to go cool off at the Roller Soaker, an interactive rollercoaster. As the cart would carry its passengers around the track, Jenn and Dave would blast them with nearby high-powered water cannons. The riders then retaliated by each rider returning fire by releasing a 6 gallon column of water high above Jenn and Dave's heads as they rode past. Trapped like sardines in the waiting line, Jenn and Dave were soaked by the time they had reached the ride. Now with the shoe on the other foot and the sweet taste of revenge, Jenn and Dave came up with their own strategies of where and when to release their 6 gallon column of water on the people waiting in line below them. A direct hit by both of them and Jenn and Dave walked the rest of the park feeling like heroes.
