We were driving back from Canberra and Jon spotted a sign for the Big Merino.
Here is the Tourist info provided by Tourism NSW: "The Big Merino (Goulburn, NSW) The Big Merino stands 15 metres high and is a tasteful monument to the area's most popular sheep breed. You'll need to take a detour off the highway to see it, but the diversion is well worth it as the Big Merino is one of the country's most famous big icons. Climb up and peer out through the eyes of the world's largest sheep." Feeling a pang for the green green grass of home (and er, um.....sheep) we decided to investigate........
