Kayak's in Katherine

After the dryness of Kakadu the sight of the water in Katherine Gorge was a very welcome sight - the absence of saltwater croc's ("salties") meant that we could actually get in the water and hire a kayak for the day (very welcome in plus 30 degree heat). Paddling up the gorge was amazing, if not exhausting, and we managed to get up to the 4th gorge and back in half the recommended time :O)
Plenty of Wallabies about to keep us entertained at the campsite (more Jon Attenborough Rees)
