Almost as far north as we'll be going in Oz we are now in Darwin, capital of the Northern Territory - our second state!
Great to back in civilisation after so many days out in the bush - I'd like to think it was a coincidence that we arrived the same day the Rugby World Cup starts but at least it explains why Jon was keen to do so much driving over the past few days!! Spent a night in Litchfield National Park on the way up, lovely camp with great waterfalls and freshwater pools ripe for swimming in - Jon found a prime spot for diving and spent a lovely evening by the fire. Spent last night watching the All Blacks vs Italy - both live sport and cold beer were very welcome although this mornings hangover is still wearing off. Jon's Wales shirt has pride of place in the van and the flag will be flying against Canada tonight!
