Hi Guys,
As mentioned previously we were going to the Thai islands however after several Tiger beers on the overnight train to Surat Thani it sounded like a good idea to head for Bangkok instead (+11 hours). After a great nights sleep on the overnighter we arrived in Bangkok wide eyed and bushy tailed - beer is even cheaper here than in Malaysia (Jon)... After an early start we visited the two main temples in BK (Wat Pho & Wat Phra Keo) - piccies don't do them justice. Having a great time, write more soon Cheers Jon More thumbnails ...

Amazing photos. Looks like a film set for 'The King and I!' It still hasn't stopped raining in Blighty. You chose the right year for a jaunt round the world.
