Today I went to LeCirque with Kathleen , Ally and Layne. This is newly reopened from an old location and from what I have heard a little less stuffy now. I love the new decor, and very subtle circus theme from the tent like shape of the ceiling and curtains to the dishes. I had a seafood risotto app which was very nice and an potato encrusted white fish (I cant remember exactly what is was) with a red wine reduction. My favorite part of this meal was the sorbet champagne floater, corbet in a martini glass floarnig in champagne served with a side of warm mini cookies. Yum!


For dinner mom and dad acme into town! We ate a db bistro moderne which is a daniel bouley restaurant and is quite good. I know I say that everything is good, but I have been blessed to go to some of the greatest placed! Here I had a lobster salad which was nice, dad had duck, and mom had the best meal which was a chilled corn and lobster soup, a ravioli dish, and a chocolate napolean. The deserts were good but not great, the rest of the meal was great! After the early dinner we went to see Jersey Boys which we loved, although I am not sure it was as good as The Color Purple which I saw last week...
