This was weekly "ladies lunch" day at a place with a great reputation, and it lived up to it. Typical fru-fru French means very small portions though! I had a delicious BLACK BASS Masala Spiced Crispy Black Bass; Peking Duck-Green Papaya Salad in a Rich Ginger-Cardamom Broth and an appetixer that was some kind of layered foie gras. Both were excellent. For desert I had ROSE-RASPBERRY Almond Tart Shell Filled with Rose Cream and Raspberries; Lychee Granité and Pistachio Crème Anglaise which was good but not amazing. The best part of desert were the complementary cookies they bring out, they are still warm and steaming wrapped in a napkin in a basket. The usual assorted chocolates come as well. This was the prix fixe lunch which is $55.
