Thanks a mill for all the e-mails, I've been trying to e-mail people tonight but the vodafone mail is being really really slow so another travelogue will have to do. By the way if anyone wants to be taken off the list and doesn't want to get the updates just let me know... I won't regard ye as bitter in the slightest! ;-)
Anyway well last I left ye was in Malacca. From there we headed up to Kuala Lumpur and I was suitably impressed by the tallest buildings in the world. They are pretty amazing. Took a wander over to see if we could get up them but unfortunately all the tickets for that day were gone by the time we got there. As we were going in the front door Doug kindly informed me that it was Sept 11th! ... Oooh and they have a Monorail in K.L too, I think every city should have one, its great craic.... (Monorail.... monorail.... mororail.... (for the simpsons fans)) So we were only supposed to stay the one night in K.L and we packed our bags yesterday, headed off to the bus station, to discover that the buses were full. So we stayed another night. Today when we were waiting for the bus we saw a crazy-man in a runaway digger, drive it into the river (shallow river to be fair) and build himself a bridge of river mud... even stopped for a cigarette break halfway. :-) We are now (after a very hairy bus journey through the jungle, the driver had to pull over and pour 3 bucket-loads of water into the engine to cool it down after going uphill at 40m/hr in 1st gear... lots of fun) in a place called Jerantut... and we're eventually going to get to the Tamen Negara park tomorrow. Staying there a couple of nights i reckon.
Hello to everyone and I'm sorry again for the lack of personal mails... blame vodafone.
