Balls, balls, bollocks and nadgers. And I'm not talking about Mardis Gras. Jen and I set off from our base in Sydney at Alina and Pete's at 'Christ-knows-what-O'clock' on monday morning headed for the Blue Mountains via the garage. Now before you jump, nay leap, to any conclusions about Priscilla, we were only due to stop for a couple of hours to get the aircon fixed before embarking on the first leg of our road trip. Unfortunately it was not that simple (when is it ever), and required that our silver bus book an overnight stay at the 'ospital d'automobile.

I do apologise, dear reader(s), for providing you with such hum drum information and not packing every line with riveting anecdotes of our escapades, but I sincerely believe that you've got to taste the sour to make the sweet taste sweeter. So having fulfilled the former, I shall reward you with the latter.....soon.....(when something amusing happens, or we actually make it to the Blue mountains).

But first, riddle me this. If a frog falls down a fifty-foot well and has to climb his way out, making three feet every day, but slipping back two feet every night, in how many days will he escape?

Oh and Dad, 'Happy Birthday!'.

Blue Mountains
The answers 48. Great to hear from you Chris, seems nuts to be talking to you from a field in Somerset!!!!
Hope Pricilla recovers (who needs aircon, just open the roof!) and you make the Blue mountains.

I`ve missed the Straker puzzles....
I could be wrong but on the 47th day the frog would climb the last 3 feet before he slips back and escape. But as I said I am normally wrong.

Anyway have fun.

Darren

P.s. Happy Birthday Chris`s Dad.
