Wow. where do i start? The beginning seems as good a place as any.
Got to Sydney airport and met the gang at the domestic terminal before travelling to the International Terminal. There's where it all fucked up.....
The Kuala Lumpar - Amsterdam leg of the journey was cancelled by KLM (who, by the way, don't give a shit about their customers)
and the travel agent who booked the flight had redistributed the five of us to various flights going to China, KL, Dubai, Malaysia which was fine by us but caused our fearless leader (OFL) to have a conniption. He then decided if he was rude and insistent that his paperwork, and not the airline's, was correct that would make them realise their mistake. After several frantic phone calls (by OFL) and 2 axious hours wait (also by OFL) we were re-routed via KL on Malaysian, then Dubai on Emirates, then onto Amsterdam via KLM (did i mention they don't give a shit?)
Anyway.....after arriving at Amsterdam 5 hours later than expected but surprisingly refreshed we discovered our bags were missing (we suspect it was a cruel joke by the Malaysian airlines check in crew in Sydney)
OFL took charge and made a report to KLM (who didn't give a shit). Anyway...long story long....mine and Jules' bags were there....... TBC
