Well this week has been a normal week in India. I caught a head cold coming back from Mysore and by Thursday was just getting over it. All in all it has been a normal week in India. When I am writing this, it is Monday morning here in Bangalore. Last weekend I worked in the Office on Saturday and for easter Sunday found a local Independent Baptist church to go to church. This church was started in another city about 45+ years ago by a Canadian missionary. It has been in Bangalore for 15 years and has a Bible college also. The pastor is Indian however for Easter, they had a guest pastor who is I believe one of the co-founders of the original church many years ago. I enjoyed the service and it lasted about three hours!!! While the service program was unique for Easter, I was told the length was normal.

While I was celebrating the resurrection of my Lord, the Indian's were celebrating the festival of colors (Holi). On Friday (Good Friday) it was a holiday [note: In a Hindu country they celebrate Good Friday with a Holiday but in a Christian Country we do not]. Holi this year was celebrated on Saturday. For this celebration all kinds of colors are thrown on you. While I did not participate I shot a couple of pictures on Sunday of people covered in paint and saw some people being showered with paint.

Well hopefully next week I will be writing from Agra (where the Taj Mahal is). I am working with a travel agent to arrange the trip but we are having some issues. I hope to have them worked out today. Until next time.
