Today we went snorkeling at the reefs at Koh Rok. The longtail boat ride took just over an hour, but the snorkeling was well worth it. We had two stops today on different parts of the reef. The conditions were perfect – crystal clear water and not too choppy. The reef was also in great condition and this led to a great variety of fish. We saw a bunch of fish that we have never seen before including a black and white clown fish and a blue pufferfish. Overall, the snorkeling was superb and some of the best that we have ever done.

After we were done snorkeling, we stopped at the beach at Koh Rok for lunch. The sand was like butter – so soft and white. We enjoyed a little more swimming and then made our way back for our last night on Koh Kradan.

Overall, Koh Kradan has been wonderful – so far, even better than Koh Phi Phi where we were last year. The snorkeling has been amazing and the accommodations at the Kradan Beach Resort have been very comfortable. The food has been delicious – my dinner tonight of fried fish with chili was all I could hope for!
