The Cuenca House, located in the center of the most beautiful city in Ecuador, is a deeply discounted hostel just for Peace Corps Volunteers which provides a home away from home, away from home; it also provides a library of books to take as you please, and dvds for use on the big screen which also has cable. Also provided is a back yard where the dogs can be tied up, where we can start a fire and get warm during the highland nights, and also a kitchen where I probably will never cook breakfast for myself because of the fine restaurants around the city. As you can tell, I am thoroughly pleased of this establishment and when some of you come down and visit, plan on relaxing here with me for a few days.

Hey Jeff,

Just catching up on a few of your postings...I just wanted to comment that I thought Cuenca was one of my favorite places on my trip and I am glad you had the opportunity to enjoy it. I am jealous you get to do this for your job!
