Tourists go to Mindo to watch the thousands of exotic bird species do their thing and get a taste of the tropical climate just a couple hours from Quito. Most people usually don't jot Mindo down for a night of painting murals on the local Red Cross, sleeping in a jungle cabin by a big soothing river, and a hike for a repel down a face of a waterfall, well that's what went on in Omnibus 94, Youth and Families style.

Hey!
Jackson it seems you are having quite the time in Ecuador! I really enjoy looking at the pictures and I am surprised to see how everyone's experience in the Peace Corps is different. Thanks for keeping up on your life with pictures and notes its great!
Re: Hey!
Whitney,
Thanks for the note. This training has been a great experience indeed. But as far as comparing it to your friend´s experience in Africa, don´t do that just yet. In less then two weeks is when my service really starts and is when the fun really starts.
Enjoy this next year at UArizona.. it´s crazy that everyone is going back and for the first time in my life... I am not. That being said, it´s time to go celebrate my 23rd bday here on the Equator.
Thanks for the note, stay in touch.
