We decided to opt for Puerto Lopez instead of Baņos as we wanted to see the whales as it is the perfect period to see them.
We were right to do that as we saw several whales and it is a magnificent view to see these monsters swimming around.
We visited as well the mini Galapagos island, isla de la plato, and it was a very nice walk we did on this island. The island is not the most beautiful one but the birds you see are unique and worth the visit.

To come here I must say it was again one of these experiences I will not forget. After the tour we had to go to the bus station. We were dropped in the middle of a highway where there was supposed to stop some taxi. After a while we had to take a ride with a guy that stopped to gain some money but wasn't a taxi driver as there was just no taxi stopping at all.
At the bus station the bus we wanted to take was already full and we had to take another one. Well we thought we were not that unlucky as the bus left directly but it was a whole soap to find that bus and inside the bus was totally full but we managed to get 2 seats together with the help of the oficial.

We wanted to take a nicer bus as it was a night ride but we got on a very crappy bus playing all the night load music and stopping every time to drop passengers or even a stop at 1AM to eat...strange as we were supposed to arrive at 5 AM. Then every 30 min the bus had to stop as the engine just stopped working. Uphill the bus just didn't want to move anymore and with a nice chaos where the passengers were asking for a new bus. But no we continued the whole way with that crappy bus stopping every 30 min and waiting 10 min to get that engine running again....Priceless!

As you may suppose we were totally dead when we arrived not at our destination but 3 hours from it where we had to take another bus.

Curioso, no?
