The clutch repair was completed last night about 7 pm.  It cost 500,000 peso's!  When we finished our great cup of coffee and some pastries we got started down the road to Medellin.  This was a fun road with good pavement nice consistent turns and not too much traffic.  We climbed until we were cold, descended to warmth and went up again.  The country side is really beautiful with rolling hills leading to steep mountains.  Farms and ranches are the predominant feature with scattered small towns between.  Lots of farmers with steel milk cans about 5 gallons I guess strapped to their burro, horses and even a steer.  They must do this trip each morning.  Never did see where they take them as there was no processing plant with in sight.

We ran into a little rain but not enough to get us to stop and don and gear.  We only had 143 K today so we arrived in the city about 1030.  As we motor into these cities it gets crazy with other motos seeing us and wanting to ride with us to gaulk and ask questions at every light.  We are surrounded by about 30 or more motos all trying to get as close a look as possible.  Add traffic like you see in New York City and you can imagine the confusion.

We find a very nice hotel for about 220,000, with two separate rooms in each apt.  Jene is ecstatic as he won`t have to be kept up by my snoring.  He is feeling much better I guess as we found a McDonald's near the hotel and he had two big hamburgers and fries and a drink and a parfait too.

I discover that there is a bullfight tomorrow starting at 4pm so we find a ticket booth and get 4 tickets for about 13 US each.  We all agree that it is a once in a lifetime event.

As you can see in the pictures this is a very modern, large city! There is a mall next to the hotel that I got lost in, it is 4 stories and in about 10 buildings all connected.  It is one of the best malls I have ever been in.  I saw the Speedo store and thought I knew my way back but found two more Speedo stores in my wondering.  Didn't`t know people still wore these things.

Tomorrow will bring a little wondering trying to find a few of Botero statues.  Try Googling him to see his art and sculpture, You might just find one called LA GORDA!  (my bike name remember).
