Friends and Family,
You know what Fred always says..."The first hundred miles are the hardest." Metaphorically speaking, Fred and I have been busily getting all our "ducks in a row" to begin our traveling adventures. We just finished paying bills, doing taxes, and packing. We have arranged a ride to the airport for our flight to Panama City, Panama tomorrow morning.
As most of you know, Fred and I like to travel on the fly without making any reservations. Well, just this once I reserved a Bed and Breakfast in Panama City, as we don't arrive until 10 pm. So the B&B is picking us up at the airport and I'll have a cozy bed to look forward to. The next morning over coffee, fruit, and pancakes, we will decide where we are going next...maybe Costa Rica, maybe Boca de Toras, maybe the Pearl Islands (you do remember Survivor - Pearl Islands don't you). You will just have to stay tuned to see where we land. But one thing I will be happy about, those first hundred miles will be behind us.
Buenas Noches.

Fred and Jane,
Sounds like a good start to a great adventure. Sorry we couldn't get together in STL, Fred. Hope the snow didn't delay your Midwest travels. I'll keep track of you online. I wish you both healthy and happy trails and tail winds. Vince
