Back to the middle of nowhere for another night before heading to Hua Hin the next day. Okay, so we got a bit lazy and opted for staying in the same place in the same sleepy town but it was good to have that sense of familarity.
Louisa had become very exited upon reading about Chinese doughnuts that are made early morning on the corner of our street. Unfortunately we couldn't make it up in time. No matter, we wandered around a food market filled with great range of fruit, veges, weird and wonderful seafood and was tempted by the assortment of sweet food. We over-dosed on very yummy mini pancakes with pavlova mix and roasted coconut. Yummy! 1 Baht each. We got inspired and bought heaps of yummy looking sweet jelly things, unfortunately they failed to live up to our expectations - oh the faces that were made!
That evening we ran into a fellow meditation retreater during dinner. He was able to give us a few more retreat centres in the UK and caught us up on his and a few others travels. So it definately was an evening of familar places and familar faces.
