Vaccinations

I spent about an hour with the travel nurse in the doctor's surgery going through my medical records for the past twelve years and it would seem that in that time I have managed to get myself vaccinated against just about every travel bug going - consequently, this time round, I only had to get a Hep B jab. I'm now covered from it for life which means one less jab to worry about in future. Still have to get malarial prevention sorted out. Obviously the best way to avoid it is to not get bitten but mossies do seem to like my blood so I will be stocking up on repellent and nearer the time I will give some thought to whether I will take doxycycline or the foul combination of chloroquine and proguanil - have taken both in the past with no ill effects, so I guess it's just which I would prefer.
