Well, we made it and its about 65 degrees f here. Much warmer than home. Apparently they shut down the airport an hour after we took off.
The place we're staying at is an older hotel, from the hey day of old Vegas. Already noticed all the entertainment here. Our hotel has Wayne Newton, but he's not playing this week. We went through our hotel, but its basically a casino so we ventured next door to Circus Circus. Its kinda tacky, and we ended up getting lost and out back behind Circus Circus is a trailer park and we decided to go out through there, but again we got lost and couldn't find our way out of the park. We ended up climbing over a 8ft high wall and then started back for our hotel as we were dog tired from all the travelling.
Just as we got over the wall a taxi came by and stopped, asking us if we wanted to go see a "titty bar". We declined and was sound asleep in an hour. we decided we explore the strip the next day.
