I just got all of my presale trips back and at first I was really excited because I had gotten all of my big trips but then I realized that two of the trips I was looking forward to the most I didn't get, operation hunger in Africa and the mother teresa missionary orphanage in India. I'm actually really upset about this and I really wanted to do those trips. I wanted to work with the children. Of course all of these type of trips are gone so there aren't any others that I can sign up for. My only hope now is to try and get a spot if someone backs out.

So today we had all of our B classes. Yes, its Sunday but that doesn't matter we still have class as long as we're not in port. I'm still really enjoying my tourism class but I have to say that every day it gets harder and harder to get out of bed. That combined with the fact that global studies has taken a turn for the worst is definitely depressing me. Fortunately I have a fairly large break between global studies and Lit(worst class ever!) so I tend to go and take a nap. Actually Nicole and I both tend to go and take naps. In lit class I was informed that next class I have to present so that was a fun surprise but in a way I'm glad to be able to get it over with. I think I'm just going to read a poem and tell them "what it means to me." Hopefully it won't be too hard. I actually had a meeting last night for the Ambassadors Club and I really like it. We are in charge of organizing the ambassadors ball at the end of the voyage and we also get to decorate and introduce the interport students. After getting all the information for that I had Bible Study where we listened to a sermon from a pastor in Florida. It was really good and it ended up lasting for two hours before we all were finally ready to leave. I think it was something that we all needed.
NEPTUNE DAY! How should I describe Neptune day...AWESOME! What other day of my life have I ever had fish eggs poured over me, kissed a fish, kissed a king, and then watched tons of people get their heads shaved. It was great! After Neptune day ceremonies were over we all went down and showered before coming back up to lay out. (life is really hard here at sea and you should all feel immensely sorry for me) I do have to say though that I really didn't take into account that we are two degrees off the equator or the fact that even though I've been in the sun the last two weeks its only been for brief periods of time therefore I look like a lobster. To make matters worse I decided that it would be smart to put on some of my moisturizer without reading the specific directions to only apply before sun exposure not after. Don't worry; I quickly washed it off when it started burning and applied vitamin e. All's well that ends well.
